This sunset was captured at Cayuga Lake, Ithaca, NY They have those cool dinner cruise
deals.. I will recommend the cruise & beautiful sights - but NOT the food..
the tomato soup course tasted like GREEN PEPPER soup - YUCK.

This used to be one of "our spots".. we had taken a garbage can & made the creek
deeper in one big section - but the city came and filled it up - you can see it
in the pic as it is the huge hump with water on both sides. I have told many
stories about this area, over the years. A hot air balloon had crash landed there,
i killed a snake on accident & then tried (unsucessfully) to save the babies
that came out. It was at that time that i learned that there should be NO live-bearing
snakes around here - so what was it? Prob sombodys pet let loose. This
is where I found the sculpin that had greenish-blue eyes, prob from pollution,
but some guys at cryptozoology.com thought it was another thing that shouldnt
have been there. Also found a skull of SOMETHING weird, (dog with horses mane
hair?) but the little kids that noticed it first wanted to take it home & did.
Eventually I will add another pic of this spot, during the flood, if i can
ever find it. Its a great placxe to catch tadpoles & minnows...

This is from the campsite about 1 1/2 hrs from Binghamton, roughly 2 hours from NYC.
I have been trying to find the name of it - but all I know is that a woman
who used to own a securities company in the WTC building - decided to leave the
area after Sept. 11, and came here to buy the old campground & I suppose re-establish
herself. Camp was loking REAL good & we had a ball - EVEN my ex from
the city who had never camped before...

Cute scene from AQUA TERRA PARK in Binghamton/Conklin NY, about an hour before they
kicked me out & asked me to never come back.. i am still a little hurt about
it too - if MY blazer can fit up the path the Quads go on, WHY CANT I DRIVE UP
THERE??? I did, and came back down safely w/o hurting anyone, but they waited
for me to come down & kicked our asses out.
